We had to purge a few more things and spend a bright, sunny day sequestered in the basement, but any sudden return to pandemic isolation will find Calvin ready with a new dance floor space. Plus we got a larger dedicated exercise space in the deal as well. I wish we had done this for him last year, but he will use it for practice even if no classes get moved to Zoom. Plus now that we have done it, there will be no isolation mandates, right? Like watering your garden to bring on the rain, or taking your umbrella to fend it off.

Day 278 in 2020

Sunday is hardly a lazy day at our house. Usually we're just coming off spending long, fun day at the farm and we do sleep in a little, but then, after pancakes, we get down to the business of chores and getting set up for the week. Cleaning, organizing, meal planning—doing the work to set ourselves up for a week of success.

Gimli doesn't have a chore list, though.
