Day 167 in 2020

Waiting in a long line (that actually moved pretty quickly) to drop off Calvin's band uniform and pick up his yearbook is not the year's end I had anticipated, but it is the only eighth grade closure we're going to get. There was a car parade graduation of sorts but we were not included since all of Calvin's core courses were done at home. That's fine. The only year end event we really missed was the final band concert. The end of our homeschool year is still a couple of weeks away for us (some of our studying was delayed by the arrival of our spotted puppy), and it will pass by as quietly as it does every year.

Day 166 in 2020 (isolation days...)

In our new reality choir concerts are spliced together from individual recordings, bassoon lessons are held over Skype, and company dance auditions are recorded in the living room.
