First steps

He may be good at rolling, he may be good at crawling, but is he good at walking?  Not really.  But he sure is determined about it - he has now started pushing our hands away when we are holding him. Foolhardy? Perhaps.   See for yourself.

Walking! Oh boy are you in trouble now! Well, you were in trouble before, but it's a whole new kind of trouble now. But it's so much fun - until they learn that running away from you is funny!

Calvin's brilliant new walking skill (before the age of 10 months no less) brings to mind the words of The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll from Through the Looking Glass: "Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! He chortled in his joy." And since he's so vocal, his new skill could be called the Jabber Walk.
